Quotes
Quotes are indicative only and based on the information provided at the time of quoting. Additional charges may apply for variations requested by the customer, changes in quantities, delivery conditions, or supplier cost increases. Crooked Kitchen will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of any material changes as they arise.
Corporate Account Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices issued by Crooked Kitchen are payable within 14 days of the invoice date.
Payment instructions will be provided on the invoice and may include Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or other approved payment methods.
Late Payments & Administration Fees
Invoices not paid by the due date may incur a $25 administration fee to cover the cost of payment reminders and account administration.
Where further reminders or recovery actions are required, additional administration fees may be applied.
Crooked Kitchen reserves the right to require payment in advance for future orders where a customer has previously had overdue invoices.
Suspension of Supply
Crooked Kitchen reserves the right to suspend or refuse the supply of goods or services where a customer’s account is overdue.
This may include refusing or cancelling:
catering orders
meal deliveries
corporate or bulk orders
account-based purchases
until all outstanding invoices and applicable administration fees have been paid in full.
Debt Recovery
Customers agree to reimburse reasonable costs incurred in recovering overdue debts, including administrative costs, collection agency fees, and legal costs where permitted by law.
Invoice Disputes
Any disputes regarding an invoice must be raised within 7 days of the invoice date.
Undisputed portions of the invoice must still be paid within the agreed payment terms.
Orders Through Partner Platforms
These payment terms apply to all invoices issued by Crooked Kitchen, including orders placed through partner platforms or service providers.
This includes orders placed via Cookaborough.com or other third-party ordering partners where Crooked Kitchen issues an invoice directly to the customer.
Where payment or ordering terms differ under a partner platform’s system, the platform’s terms may also apply.
Catering Orders
Orders are considered confirmed once written confirmation has been received.
Catering Cancellations
Catering orders may be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled collection or delivery time without charge.
Where an order is cancelled within 48 hours, Crooked Kitchen reserves the right to charge up to 50% of the order value to cover ingredients purchased, preparation time, and scheduling costs.
Where an order is cancelled within 24 hours, or the order is not collected or accepted at the agreed time, up to 100% of the order value may be charged.
These charges represent reasonable costs incurred in preparing the order.
Food Orders & Refunds
Due to the perishable nature of food products, Crooked Kitchen does not provide refunds or credits for:
change of mind
incorrect customer orders
failure to collect an order at the agreed time
dissatisfaction after the food has been consumed or substantially consumed.
Customers are responsible for checking orders at the time of collection or delivery.
If an order is incorrect or does not meet acceptable quality standards, customers must notify Crooked Kitchen as soon as reasonably possible so the issue can be assessed and resolved.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
Third-Party Delivery Services
Where orders are placed through third-party delivery platforms or courier services, Crooked Kitchen is responsible only for the preparation and quality of the food at the time it leaves our premises.
Crooked Kitchen is not responsible for delays, damage, temperature changes, or delivery errors caused by third-party couriers or delivery platforms.
Any delivery-related issues should be reported directly through the platform used to place the order.
